Bifesta Cleansing lotion (sebum)

Sm north had a 3 day sale today and we bought a lot of stuff ^_^ ... I wanted to buy clothes but couldn't find any that I liked so I ended up shopping in watsons or the health and beauty section of SM department store... Here are some things that I bought..

But for today I'll be doing a review on Bifesta cleansing lotion.. ^_^

i absolutly love japanese products. ʅ(´◔౪◔)ʃ ... This product is called Bifesta cleansing express cleansing lotion in the Sebum Variant... This is suppose to remove your makeup and reduce oild production..

I have a super oily face with some dry patches :p

This is how the bottle looks like when you remove the plastic cover with the english translation...

It is in a pump form  :)

Its a bit pricey...  php419 but worth it ^_^
It's much cheaper than other cleansing lotions.. and you get a lot more product ^_^

Smell
It has a mild smell... Or no smell at all... I cant explain -_-...

does it work?

left to right: black eyeshadow, cream blush , revlon colorstay, fashion21 lipliner , etude dr lash, and shawil orange blush.

Apply product on a cotton pad... I used one pump...

first wipe.... got rid of most of the products except for etude dr lash..

second.... some blush remain and a little bit of lip liner ...

And 3rd!!! no makeup :)

I had to wipe it three times... for the face and heavy makeup it might take a while to fully remove :p

cotton pad with makeup residue... eeewww. (
⊙◞౪◟⊙)

for oil control ... I haven't seen any changes yet... as for break outs... none... I used the Bifesta cleansing lotion in the brightup variant  and I loved it... It's not the best but I have yet to find a good makeup remover :(

will I purchase  again? Yes... but I want to try. something new :( something that will remove my makeup more efficiently with less product ...

Positive:
+price is ok php419
+ dosnt break me out
+no smell/little smell
+dosn't sting face or eyes
+localy available
+pump

negative:
-might be pricey for some people
-you need to wipe your face a couple of times to fully remove makeup
- doesn't reduce oil

Carmex ~ moisturizing lip balm

^_^\I was looking for a good lip balm that would leave my lips feeling soft and smooth all day... I'm not a fan of chapstick since I feel like it doesn't work and nivea tinted lip balm looks like I've been eating candy :p I have yet to try nivea's untinted lipbalms...

I went to Trinoma the other day and ran into the lipbalm section... I saw Carmex a brand that I've seen on blogs countless of times... I heard good reviews.. :) I bought the carmex moisturizing lipbalm in the clickstick form original flavour ^_^ for php 109.75

The packaging is simple.. :) It has SPF 15 so your lips can be protected from the sun ^_^

The back of the box... has the product description, directions , warnings etc... It also says Carmex products are tested on family members.. not animals ... ♥\^_^

The stick is also simple as well... and has a safety seal so you dont have to worry about safety and if a customer wanted to try it >_<

When i first applied it on my lips it felt sticky but went away after a while... it left a nice cooling sensation that made me feel it realy was treating my lips
♥... One thing that bothered me was the SMELL ... it may sound weird but it smells like the zoo... elephant poopoo .. -_- (why do I notice the weirdest things) I asked my sister and she said it smells like burnt rubber... when I told her it smells like the zoo...she said "OMG! you're right!" smells like elephant poop!!! XD it goes away after a while but I hate the smell when freshly applied....

After a few hours it left my lips nice and smooth. :) I love how it feels :) All in all.. i love this product... smells terrible but the positive factors outway the negative ones ^_^

POSITIVE:
+cheap php109
+nice packaging
+leaves lips smooth and soft
+cooling effect
+releives chapped lips
+locally available

NEGATIVE
-smells like the zoo "elephant shit"

WARNING: dont wear this on a date XD

will i buy this again?
YES!!!! but different flavour!!! XD

High lighter beam

It's been ages since I last posted an entry to my blog. I've been busy with work. :( So anyway.... I'll be posting a review about The Faceshop high lighter beam!!

I wanted to buy Benefits High beam but it was so expensive. I heard other bloggers saying face shops high lighter beam is a good dupe for benefits High Beam.. so I wanted to give it a try since im on a tight budget haha XD

THE FACE SHOP high lighter beam is cheap (wayyyy cheaper than benefits HB)  TFS highlighter beam is worth php495 only!!!! :) but is it good?

This is what the packaging looks like... The box is sooo pretty and shiny !! :) I absolutly love it... for the container it's similar to benefits HB in a nail polish like container.. :) I think its higyenic and prevents germs from contaminating your makeup. :)

when swatched... it has a pinkish tone to it.... it's thick but easy to blend. For the smell.. it smells sort of like paint with a hint of milk :p but you can hardly smell it once its on your face :) so it's ok... ^_^

This is how it looks like when slightly blended into the skin... it looks more silver now....

and when thoroughly blended into the skin it gives a nice glow .... :)

I love using this to highlight my eyebrow bone and the upper part of my cheeks... I hate using it to highlight the bridge of my nose because it makes me look oily throughout the day... and seems to settle into the pores on my nose .... Im not sure if I'm applying it correctly.. huhu

all in all.... I am in a love /hate relationship with this product... I think I won't buy this again... but I'll give it another try :) I think I'll use this for cosplay or something since I noticed some beautiful cosplayers using highlighters to make them look slimmer and makes their makeup more dewy :)  examples are some korean Cosplayers Tomia and Miyuko

You can also mix this with your foundation to have a glowy complection... I prefer using it that way.. ^_^ hehe

VERDICT

Positive
+nice packaging
+hygenic container
+easily blendable
+cheap php495
+no strong scent

Negative
-settles in pores and fine lines
-makes face look ouly if not applied correctly

SCORE:
3.5/5

Etude House Collagen Moistfull Smoothing Ampule Primer Review

Etude house SM Sta Mesa Branch opened a couple of months ago. It's Christmas now and decided to give myself a little gift ^_^. I saw this product! Etude House Collagen Moistfull Smoothing Ampule Primer. I needed a primer so badly and saw this at a reasonable price :) I believe this costs (500php +) Sorry I forgot the exact price.  huhu

What cought my eye was the packaging! The box was sooooo gorgeous.

Like all etude house products. If you buy an item 500 php above you get a freebie. Since this costs over 500 php they gave me this mask but I'll do a separate review next time.

Description:
Hydrating moisture primer lifts and tightens complexion to promote a radiant glow prior to foundation makeup application.

Directions:
Dispense primer onto hands and apply to face. Spread and blend with fingers

Caution:
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue if signs of irritation and rash occur.

Ingredients:
Water, cyclopentasiloxane, alcohol denat, mica, titanium dioxide, dimethicone, phenyl trimethicon, peg-10 dimethicone, isoppropyl myristate, dypropylene glycol, dymethicone, dimethicone crossploymer, disteardimonium hectorite, hexyl laurate, hydrolized collagen, xanthan gum, adensona digtata pulp extract,  magnesium sulfate, silica, tin oxide, iron oxides.

This is what it looks like out of the box! :)

I applied it on my hand so you can see it's consistency   It's a bit thick but blends out smoothly!  :) The smell? hmmm.. It has a flowery powder scent to it. It smells good but not too overpowering. the color is a bit orangish whitish tan. I think it's for getting rid of redness but I'm not to sure. >_<

This primer gives you a glow. Notice how my skin tone became much brighter when i blended it out! It also moisturized it and made my skin soooo smooth. I tried applying makeup under this and it was so nice. It made my makeup last longer and my makeup glide on so perfectly. I think this is one of the best primers I've tried so far. I absolutely love it! It did not break me out as well.

SAIZEN Nose Shadow ~ Shadow and Highlight

Another Product I bought in Saizen. I believe I have bought this product over 5 times already.
I think it works so good as a contouring powder. This comes in 2 shades and I usually buy the lighter one. The lighter one is always out of stock so I decided to try there darker shade.

This powder has NO shine or glitter w/c is very good. I noticed some people who contour there face and used shiny contouring powder or bronzer and ended up looking like they had a bad sunburn. (;¬_¬)

I have never used the white highlighter that comes with it. I think it doesn't show. (useless) For highlighting I use another highlighter or for my case white eyeshadow haha LOL. I think Eyeshadow is great if you find the right shade for highlighting and contouring.

As for the packaging. I think it looks plain. Nothing out of the ordinary. What I hate about this (based on experience) the lid breaks off easily and the individual tin containers that the contouring and highlighting powder is in sometimes becomes loose and come off. >_< So you have to be very careful.

I swatched it on my hand so you can see. It's a bit dark for me I still prefer the lighter shade. :( huhuhu Another good thing about this powder it didn't break me out! :D all in all I think this is great! For 85 php it's worth it! ^_^

Rating:
★★★★✰ (4/5)

Pros:

  • Cheap (85 php)
  • Contours well
  • doesn't cause breakouts

Cons:

  • The lighter shade is always out of stock
  • case breaks easily
  • highlighter is useless.

will i buy it again?
Yes! But I want to try other contouring powders since I haven't found the perfect one for me yet. For the meantime I'll be using this

SAIZEN Glitter Eyeshadow ( Ellefar color makeup series)

Another haul from saizen! Found these oh so adorable glitter Eyeshadow! The glitter really caught my eye! I'm a sucker for colorful glittery stuff! You can buy this at saizen. I bought mine in there branch at Robinsons Galleria for (85 php)

At first I though I had such a good buy.. but I was wrong. The glitter was only on the top layer. Once you swipe of the top layer the glitter comes off with it which is a nono or false advertising since the case says... GLITTER EYESHADOW!! NOT GLITTER ON FIRST USE ONLY SHADOW o(-`д´- 。) *curses!!

This is how it looks like when swatched... It's ok I guess for 85 php.. Still disapointed because of the glitter.. Now it's only plain old metalic eyeshadow.  The only color I like is the yellow one and the white one... The orange one looks white... the pink is similar to my terrible blush that I also bought from saizen (link) http://krisseysantos.blogspot.com/2012/12/saizen-multi-cheek-blush.html the brown.. hmmm.. looks purple... I don't know why... (; ̄Д ̄ arghhhh

See the glitter? It's almost gone.. >_<

I love saizen but be careful! Some of there cosmetics are such big ripoffs! >_<
The eyeshadow is usable... I just hate that they deceived me!! (◣_◢) Usotuski! at least the applicator is good.

Rating:
★✰✰✰✰ (1/5)

Pros:
  • Cheap (85 php)
  • applicator is good

Cons:
  • False advertising ( GLITTER is on the top layer only)
  • Colors are weird when swatched ( brown turned purple)

will i buy it again?
NO (*≧m≦*)

(Saizen) Multi Cheek Blush

I visited saizen the other day in Robinsons Galleria. I didn't want to waist my effort and buy nothing so I spotted this blusher. I'm almost out of blush and I'm a huge fan of pink blush so I wanted to try this!
MULTI CHEEK professional make up artist blush..

This is what it looks like when you open the case! It's soooo pink!!!! First impression... a bit scared because it was sooo cheap. (85 php) I have this belief that cheap makeup means breakouts.(*≧m≦*)

The brush that came with the blush was TERRIBLE (blush brush blush brush haaha!!)!!! It was toooo hard and it didn't do much when it came to application... it just left huge chunks and patches on my cheeks...
(; ̄Д ̄)

Now to the blush itself! hmmmm it's ok I guess... but too shiny.. almost like a highlighter but pink. :p and the colors does not show that much on my cheeks. My cheeks end up looking shiny instead and doesn't look natural at all...

I swatched it on my hand.. can you see it? Barely.... :p it's more silver than pink a silvery cast... I have a farely light complexion but this still doesn't show on me .. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT at all!!  If you have dark skin... this will not work even more!!!

This might work if you were very white or you want to achieve that baby pink harajuku styled blush... maybe...  (-__-) but I still think it's terrible.. worst blush ever.. I waisted 85 php! └(>o< )┘ LOL! XD I think it's better of as an eyeshadow.. a really light pink eye shadow. :p

Rating:
★✰✰✰✰ (1/5)

Pros:

  • Cute packaging
  • Cheap (85 php)

Cons:

  • too light (leaves a silver cast)
  • powdery ( powdery unnatural finish)
  • terrible brush! ( too hard and awful aplication)
  • cheap.. but i still feal like i wasted money

will i buy it again?
 Nevahhh!!! evahhh! (-`Д´-ノ;)ノ
